View Full Version : youngest champion record to easy to get now

just look at it. Smackdown has its own little heavy weight title. And Smackdown is full of young talent. And i know we dont want them to get pushed TOO fast but in times, they need to be pushed.

Brock Lesnar won the title when he was about 25.

Talents like Cena, Dupree, Jindrak, Haas are all under that age. More people will even come later on.

Cena-is already about to become main-event material
Dupree-VERY young, is already in the US title division
Jindrak-hasnt got a big push yet, but i bet he will with Theo along with him
Haas-time in the tag team division will soon be over.

So holding the record for the youngest champion ever would be kinda too easy to get now...and RAW would have to have its own little record because most of its talent is older.

This is why i dont think they should make Smackdown a "minor league" team with just a buncha young talent with vets used only to get them over.

What are your comments?

yeah i guess this was bound to happen with the young talent been brought in. i have no idea how old they are (cena, haas and jindrak) but if dupree is 20 then i think he would win the title before his 25. jindrak is young but i think he has at least 3 years before he is in the title picture. but i see guys like cena and haas in the title picture with in the year.

but honestly i dont really take much notice of how young or old they were when they won the title. im sure most people would be amazed just how old some wrestlers are, but hey i dont think all wrestlers have to be pushed into the world title picture. if they plan to stay in the wrestling business im sure they have at least another 20 +yrs to win the title.

I think the main reason for the amount of young stars in the WWE is that the talent is not coming through ECW or WCW or even Japan first. More and more talent is coming up from OVW and the talents are garduating at an earlier age. The WWE needed a new influx of talent as it lost Stone Cold, The Rock, Mankind and The Undertaker from full-time schedules. Some talents though were just in the right place at the right time - examples below -

Rene Dupree - If the French had not protested against the war we may not have been introduced to Dupree yet.

Brock Lesnar - The WWE needed a new big guy, a new main eventer and with Kurt Angle paving the way for amateur wrestlers making it big in the WWE, Brock was in.

Batista - After his stint as D'von's deacon i didn't know what they would do with him. Then Evolution came along and needed a big guy, an enforcer. Once again, right time and right place for Batista.

So the new breed was needed but I believe there would be less if it had not been for the above circumstances.

Personally, I'd rather have young guys step up into the main event and get rid of the older talent. The WWE needs to start fresh, and they've started to do that with guys like Orton, Cena, etc. Hopefully it will continue.

I agree with you Shua. It's time for the new names to become the big superstars of today. HHH, Undertaker and Shawn Michaels can only last for so long.

If he is to win the title, he will have to drop the gimmick that he is on now. I don't think the fans would take him seriously enough to be even a main eventer, and if he wins the title would the fans take him as a strong enough title holder.

could you compare any of the young talent to what the main eventers off today were like when they were young? like austin, did he at 1st find it hard to get a decent gimmick or get the push he needed when he first got into wrestling? i wasnt really into wrestling back in those days so i dont know about stuff like that. i know he went to wcw and ecw though.

i posted this message in IOW as well but let me say this again ...

cena is 27
dupree is 21
jindrak 27
haas 32

3 of these guys that r mentioned as very young r not at all (in the wrestling world). dupree is the only 1 possible 2 beat the record and frankly i dont think any1 gives a **** about whether it is broken or not. all of these guys r talented and deserve wat they get except for mayb haas and jindrak. this thread has now been sorted. thank u.

dude, noodle...stop with the attitude. Makes me wanna make another rant thread about you..

If its annoying then dont post it. Have what you want. No one is telling you to post it. If you think its annoying then you dont have to post. And stop trying to act like a mod. Hes a senior member at IOW so i think i know what hes posting.

I for one gives a **** about it being broken. And i know many other dont want the record to lose its credibility.

haas and jindrak maybe not deserving it? Just because both of them havent gotten a decent push dont mean crap

Who is a senior member? I am confused to what you are stating.

Jindrak will never get a decent push, he needs to drop this gimmick as of late, and get himself a decent enough one that can get over with the crowd, and that they can take seriously enough for him to carry the gold. Haas has a good chance to win the title, but he needs to get his singles career started soon, hanging around the tag division won't get you the title and a main event spot. But i am happy for him to stay with Rico for a few weeks before moving onto his singles career.

Im saying the Wolf is back in IOW, so i think he knows how to post...i think...or was it the wall? But he was right about him having an attitude. Anywho, i think Charlie Haas should challenge Cena for the US title right now! Because Cena needs a good oppenent for GAB and Booker shouldnt be it. Hes good, but deserves bigger.
