Singles Match
Unit vs. Andrew Xavier

This match was all about Andrew Xavier trying to bring some prestige to his newly created New Age Championship. He picked the wrong opponent to do it against though, as Unit proved himself far too difficult an opponent for the crowd to get into. Xavier dominated the match, only being hit once by a left handed slap when Unit was trying to grab his face following a running elbow in the corner. Several members of the crowd were still getting into their seats during this match, and Xavier took a few minutes to chew them out for not arriving on time before coming back over and splitting Unit in half with a spear. Xavier then posed with his belt on the outside, taking a photo for a disinterested fan before coming back in the ring and finishing Unit off with The Xavier Experience for the one, two, three.

Winner: Andrew Xavier. (3:36)

Singles Match
Spaz vs. Phill Bennett

The current God of Live, showed why many think of his reign as a fluke as he struggled early on against the veteran Spaz, in spite of the fact Spaz did not seem ready for the encounter from the start. No matter what he tried, it seemed Phill was always getting reversed. The tide turned when Spaz went for Perfection, but Phill caught him and took him over with a capture suplex. The God of Live then begin showing that perhaps he was not a fluke after all as he worked over the left shoulder of Spaz. The crowd seemed to be starting to get into the match when Phill hit a northern lights suplex, floated over picked Spaz up and drove him down with a reverse Twist of Fate. Phill headed up top, but took too much time getting set up and Spaz crotched him by bouncing into the ropes. The veteran started to punch the God of Live in the head with closed fists, but Phill pushed him off with Spaz landing on his feet. Spaz run up to the middle rope and started to lift up the God of Live in a fireman’s carry, but his shoulder was too weak as he fell back with Phill on top of him and the referee counted the pin for the three.

Winner: Phill Bennett (9:51)

Singles Match
Fredrek Meyer III vs. Blade LaVigne

Meyer began the match by chewing out the WPW locker room for sending him such a weak opponent in Blade LaVigne. He questioned the intelligence of the few fans who were chanting for Blade, noting that by the looks of the legs of the women in attendance, Orlando had no idea what a blade was. This was too much for LaVigne to take as he attacked Meyer from behind with a right hand to the back. Meyer responded by turns around and synching in a sleeper hold on LaVigne as he continued to run down the WPW audience and locker room. Just as it looked like the match would be over with LaVigne passing out, Meyer released the hold and took down Blade by pushing him forward. He then applied a leg scissors to the midsection of LaVigne so he could keep up his tirade. Tired of Meyer’s rantings, the referee called for the bell and awarded him the match, claiming Blade was unconscious, which he was, though it is not clear if it was due to the hold or just excessive boredom.

Winner: Fredrek Meyer III (7:43)

Singles Match
2 vs. Twizted

This may have been the match of the night as both men showed the kind of passion and desire to win you want to see at a wrestling show. 2 seemed to be a bit hungover and Twizted took full advantage by flying about the ring, spinning and flipping his way into 2 with a variety of kicks, splashes and attacks. With 2 on the outside following the Close Up, Twizted missed a corkscrew plancha to turn the tide of the match. 2 was in control for several minutes, but could not keep Twizted down even with a variety of strikes and slams. The crowd seemed solidly behind 2, and did not like it any time Twizted tried to take a short cut with thumbs to the eye or using the ropes as leverage on a few pin attempts. The match ended when Twizted tried to hit From The Ghetto but 2 sat up and took him over head with a belly to belly throw and came down to get the pin and the win.

Winner: 2 (21:35)

Singles Match
Mr Mendez vs. Beno

Mr. Mendez came out first and demaned Beno be counted out and he win the match as the result of a forfeit, but the referee just laughed it off. Beno came out and starred right at Mendez as he walked to the ring, stepped through the ropes and got the match started quickly by picking up Mendez with a gorilla press and dropping Mendez face first behind him. Beno then controlled the match with some power moves before Mendez did, I have to be honest with you, some fat guy blocked my view for most of this match so all I had to go on for much of it was the chants of the crowd. Whenever the chants were upbeat, I assume Beno had control. It seemed obvious that Mendez had underestimated his opponent in this match. Finish of the match saw Mendez go for the Soul Bomb only to be countered into a sunset flip as Beno held the ropes on the pin to get the victory.

Winner: Beno (15:49)

Singles Match
Stallion vs. Ben Whyndham

In Royalty’s first match since forming, Stallion completely destroyed Ben Whyndham, leaving many to wonder why Whyndham even bothered to show up at all. JMC, Dust, Sophie, Stephanie, The Judge and Carlos were all on the outside, pretending to be concerned for their teammate. Stallion finished this match off rather quickly as he forced Whyndham to tap out to the Dragon Sleeper. After the match the other members of Royalty came into the ring and began to stomp away on Whyndam. JMC took him out with a Soliqui, and then he was hit with To Dust. The Judge had him set up for a Judgment DDT, when Sky Ryder came in to make the save. Royalty then cleared the ring as Sky Ryder beckoned for Judge to come and get him.

Winner: Stallion (3:28)

Singles Match
Sky Ryder vs. The Judge

As Sky Ryder waited for The Judge to get back in the ring, Stallion snuck up behind him and leveled him in the back of the head with a shot from a steel chair. Stallion continued to reign down on Sky Ryder with chair shots to the back as the rest of Royalty stood on top of the stage laughing, with JMC and Dust watching to make sure nobody came out to try and help out Sky Ryder. Stallion finally stopped his attack as Sky Ryder laid motionless on the mat. Smirking on his way out of the ring, Stallion rejoined the rest of Royalty on the top of the ramp. The Judge smirked and told the referee to ring the bell as he motioned like he was about to run into the ring, but instead he just turned and walked backstage with the rest of Royalty, giving Sky Ryder the win by count out.

Winner: Sky Ryder (:10)

Singles Match
Gunnar Brian vs. Johnny Saxton

Another back and forth match here, saw Gunnar Brian and Johnny Saxton do their best to steal the show. The fans loudly voiced their support of Brian and seemed to enjoy getting under the skin of the “Rockstar!” throughout the back and forth encounter. At first, Saxton seemed very mellow towards the treatment but it seemed he grew more tense as the match went on, eventually snapping at a little girl and telling her there something things that caused the girl to cry. Neither man ever seemed to be able to take control of the match for more than a minute or two at a time in. The finish of the match came when Saxton went up top as the referee was distracted by Gunnar and the green haired woman pushed him off the ropes and Gunnar climbed on top for the pin to get the one, two, three and win the match.

Winner: Gunnar Brian (23:12)

Tag Team Match
J & J (Bennett & Parker) vs. The Fallen (Forsaken & Vengeance)

Jamie Parker again showed that Live is not his show as Forsaken and Vengeance controlled most of the match against the WPW Tag Team Champions. Bennett watched on the outside as his partner seemed unable to muster up any offense against The Fallen. Parker finally tagged out of the match when Forsaken began and Vengeance had a disagreement over Vengeance’s underhanded tactics in the match. Bennett came in on fire and took down both opponents with severals punches and kicks. He nearly pinned Vengeance following a running cutter, but Forsaken broke it up by dragging his partner to the corner, pulling him from under the pin, and tagging himself into the match. Bennett and Forsaken exchanged punches as Forsaken got the better of the exchange. Parker tried to get a blind tag and went for a quick roll up on Forsaken but Vengeance broke it up. Seemingly tired of the way things were going, Parker rolled out of the ring and grabbed one of the titles and threw it in the ring. The referee quickly disposed of it and turned around to see Parker drilling Forsaken in the face with the other WPW Tag Team Title belt causing the disqualification and giving the win to the Fallen in a rather long match. Bennett grabbed his belt from outside the ring and as Vengeance looked down at his partner he was hit in the side of the face with a belt shot from Jason Bennett. The Fallen laid in the ring bloody and victorious and the champions held their belts high and walked to the back to a chorus of boos. Literally, the school’s chorus led the crowd in booing the two men, it was a really cool thing to be a part of live.

Winners: The Fallen (28:47)

Main Event Singles Match
Scorch vs. Kaze

My mom made me leave after the Tag match and I am not happy about it. If anybody knows what happened in this match, please send in details. I love that Scorch guy and cannot believe my mom made me miss him just because it was a school night. On a side note, I did meet him before the show, got a photo taken and he signed my Redemption Poster for me. I asked him if he ever spoke with a hamster but my mom came by and dragged me off to comb my hair before he could answer. I barely even have any and it was definitely not needed. Overall it was a good show, but I wanted to see the new WPW Champion, The One, that guy is awesome.

Winner: Scorch

Hey Jesse L, just back from the that show also. The Main Event turned out to be a non-starter as it was announced bY Mina Hendersons sister Doris that Scorch wasn't able to compete tonight. Apparently he has been locked away in his aprartment crying this past week as he looks at pictures of Sophie Cassius and has a Billy Ray Cyrus CD on replay.
