5/24: Generation Next has been awarded the final spot in the June 12th Ultimate Endurance match that features the teams of Colt Cabana & Ace Steel, BJ Whitmer & Dan Maff as well as Jay & Mark Briscoe. We will know exactly which Generation Next members later this week. It is currently undecided whether the Tag Titles will be on the line. ROH officials are going to make a definitive ruling soon about whether others in the same faction can step in to defend the Tag Titles. The ruling will either be that any member of a faction can defend the belts or that the belts can only be defended by the two men that won them.
5/24: Three more names have been added to the Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup on June 24th in the Baltimore area. Homicide with Julius Smokes, Alex Shelley and John Walters will take part in the tournament. The final two names will be announced soon.
5/24: The format to determine a new Pure Champion on 7/17 at the RexPlex in Elizabeth, NJ is the following: There will be two Four Corner Survival matches in the first half the show. The winners of those bouts will meet under Pure Title rules in the second half to determine the new champion. Already entered in these matches are Alex Shelley, Doug Williams, Nigel McGuiness and Austin Aries. However, they will not all be in the same Four Corner Survival. We will have more soon.
5/24: Alex Shelley has stated that his main goal right now is the Pure Title. He said he will make the Pure Title a prestigious belt just like Samoa Joe did with the World Title. Shelley believes he will go down in the record books as the man that made the Pure Title mean something.
5/24: Since Jimmy Rave didn't figure in a decision last Saturday, he did not lose his spot on the roster. He is still one loss away from losing his job, though.
5/24: Dan Maff told BJ Whitmer and Allison Danger after the Philly event that he will give Whitmer one more chance to make The Prophecy a winning team. If they lose again Maff said it will be the death of The Prophecy. They will have that chance on June 12th in Dayton.
- Hopefully for that Ultimate Endurance match Will have Strong and Evans Representing Generation Next
- :winkok: On the Pure Wrestling title idea, I ****ing like the look of it, and i also like the Participant's who are allready Invovled!! It's gunna be good
- I STILL See Alex Shelley becomeing the Promotion's pure Wrestling Champion. Nuff Said, Which is a shame as i wouldn't have minded seeing Striker or some one like that become title holder.
- I sense the Prophercy splitting up soon! I forsee The Saint's taking the Prophercy feud and i can also see a Dan Maff/BJ Whitmer feud some where down the line. I can see Generation Next becomeing the "Main faction" inside of RoH
Thoughts?
