ooc: I know that it's too late to rp for the PPV. I'm just doing it to stay out of trouble. :o
The scene opens in the True Kings customized gym. Ivan Drago is laying on an incline bench press, lifting an obscene amount of weight. He strains under the last rep and sits up. One of his paid technicians comes over and injects him in the arm with a syringe. Drago's eyes close briefly then he looks at the camera and speaks.
Drago:
I am not a man of many words. I would rather let my actions speak for me as they speak louder than any words could ever do. If you need an example, just look your uCw World Champion, the Main Man. Last week, he did more talking then anyone but his actions showed that that was all it was, talk. When I first came to the uCw, I wanted to destroy the greatest uCw superstar in existence. I had seen him on TV. I had heard him on the radio. I had read him in print. But the Main Man that I witnessed last week was not the same man that I was bombarded with in the media. He wasn't a superstar, he wasn't great. He was a disappointment! An embarassment to the uCw and everything it stands for. I took him apart with a minimum amount of time and effort and then let Dust rip every muscle in his back. And then I felt searing pain as I was struck from behind with a chair by Gary Francis.
Ivan stands up and walks over to a punching sensor. He squares up and punches the sensor as hard as he can. The technicians monitoring the sensors are stunned at the power Drago can inflict. Drago flexes his wrist and speaks again.
Drago:
Francis, I don't know what your motives were for returning to the ring to help out a man who obviously doesn't like or even respect you. Maybe you were embarrased at how easily and quickly I took you apart. Maybe it was a ploy to get over with the fans...the same fans that applauded the Main Man when he publically embarrased you. Maybe you actually respect the Main Man in a kind of puppy dog way. I say puppy dog, because only a dog would respect someone who mistreated them. Regardless of what your reasons were, you have now made the biggest mistake of your short, boring, and pointless career. Before you struck me, the True Kings were finished with you. Do you think that it was you that we wanted at last weeks Revolution? We didn't want you! That was why when you and Ray Williams left the ring and abandoned the Main Man, we didn't think twice about it. You were insignificant. We wanted to destroy the Main Man, who, as much as I am loathed to admit it, is simply a bigger fish in the pond than you. But after you hit me and attacked the True Kings, you singled yourself out as the second person that we will make an example out of at Hardcore Innovation. First, Dust will finish what he started and take the title from the paper champion. Then I will break you in half. We have been booked for a 'Ring of Fire' match. I do not fear fire and I do not fear pain. And I do not fear you. Unfortunately for you, you cannot say the same. You fear fire, it is instinctive. You fear pain, it is also instinctive. And after Sunday, you will fear me in the same way. It will be an instinct, something you cannot control. It will be as much a part of you as is breathing, or the need to eat. This Sunday, I must break you.
Drago turns and punches the sensor as hard as he can, leaving a knuckle-deep inprint in the hard rubber and plastic. His technicians gasp as the scene fades out.
